I reach out to you with an exciting opportunity for you to help us support grieving families and support their healing and resilience, one moment at a time. I have been volunteering at Good Grief for the past 3  years and am so grateful to now be employed there part time as their Community Outreach and Training Manager. I will share that the highlight of my week is coming to Good Grief on what we call "Nights of Support" when the children and families attend for a pizza dinner and then go to their respective parent or childrens' support groups where we, the volunteer facilitators, have the privilege of accompanying them on their grief journeys.  Yes, there are tears and there is also laughter, growth, peer support and much connection that happens on these nights!  These nights are free of charge as you can read below and our 5K helps us cover these nights and the trainings to bring in more facilitators!  Good Grief is a magical and empowering organization.  I am so grateful to have found it when I moved to NJ!  

We have formed a Facilitator Team and we are excited to be participating in Good Grief's  3rd 5K Run and Walk in Princeton. This event helps us to honor and remember those who have died, while creating community!  Good Grief is 100% privately funded, and their programming is free of charge to all participants for as long as they need the support.
