Some of the Reasons I Support Good Grief
"Because I don't have to pretend."
That's what a grieving child told their parent when asked why they liked going to Good Grief so much.
In New Jersey, 30 kids a day experience the death of a parent or sibling. By the time they turn 18, one in 13 kids will have the same experience. It is a journey no one wants to take, but at Good Grief, all grieving kids--and their parents or guardians--have a home.
I'm running the 5K because I've seen the impact Good Grief had on friends and neighbors, both as participants and as volunteers, and I'm proud to help provide a home for families struggling with grief, and support Good Grief's efforts to make New Jersey a more grief-informed state.
With every donation, you help ensure Good Grief can provide their programming--free of charge--to the families who need it the most. Every dollar makes a difference, so please make a gift today.
Thank you so much!
