I have lived with grief a very long time, and only recently found myself learning to grow from my grief instead of being overwhelmed by it. Good Grief was a huge part of my journey as an adult processing their grief but seeing the impact it has on young kids dealing with death is incredible.

In my own grief journey, I have come to a place where feeling that I can directly help others and support causes that are important to me gives me tremendous fulfillment. In my corporate career I only gave financially, but seeking more meaning for myself I shifted to a nonprofit career. Today I work for one of the largest providers of Donor Advised Funds, and my job is to increase global philanthropic giving.

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to feel I am bettering the world with my work and with my own philanthropic support. To borrow an analogy from Good Grief, I feel that my jar has grown tremendously and that my grief takes up less and less space.

So please if you are able join me in an act of philanthropy and donate to support my team!
